Although the facility is great and our unit and the building it's in is spotlessly clean, that's not the most impressive thing about Tropicana Storage. It's the people. After my company obtained our unit, I stopped into the office to find out exactly where our unit was. I was greeted by Danaya -- maybe welcomed is a better word. The point is, having experienced other facilities, I can say that she was by far the most professional, efficient, and friendly office person (manager?) I've encountered. She couldn't possibly have been more helpful. I went back later to find that she was on break and was equally professionally greeted by another young woman whose name I never got, but still great. Then I met Dante Graham, the property manager. Once again, professional, efficient, and friendly. I highly recommend Tropicana Storage in Clearwater for anyone looking for a clean and extremely well run facility.

l had to review this place immediately!. I rented a U-Haul yesterday and spoke with Dante and Danaya about potentially renting a unit. They were very thorough with explaining how viewing a unit would go and the options I had. I did not have time yesterday but when I returned the truck today, they were able to take of me, exceptionally. Drew was very detailed, kind and courteous. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the office as well. No way was I going to go anywhere else! Thank you and glad to be apart of the family!

The property is both clean and safe and when I needed a helping hand Issac jumped right in without me even asking... Truly a great group of people, forgive me for not remembering everyone's names...

I Love the people that work here already !! It was my first visit and everyone was very friendly. I happen to forget my prescription glasses in the front of the U-Haul I rented and the store already closed for the day. I did call and leave a message and my call was returned later , I was able to get my glasses back and move on with my day. Thanks again.

Before we began using Tropicana 2-years ago we had utilized similar facilities in the area and can testify that there is simply no comparison. What a breath of fresh air to have a nice, clean and well-kept facility as well as a warm body to talk to in the office 7-days a week. The only down side we worried about was not having 24-hour accessibility but as it turned out it wasn't an issue with our particular needs. We have just this month been able to consolidate our junk to the point that we no longer need additional storage however our experience with our stay at Tropicana was definitely a cut above and would highly recommend it to anyone needing temporary storage - Jim Fenton

This is a cliche, but I *rarely* post reviews. If you value real customer service (not just a person reading from a script) this is the place to do business. I've rented a few U-Hauls from them over the years, always had a pleasant experience. However, this post is not about my storage/rental equipment experience. I needed a moving blanket. That's all, a single moving blanket for a home project. I knew this was going to be an issue, figuring they only sell packs of 3, 4, 5, etc. (if they sold them at all.) Driving down 19, I saw Tropicana U-Haul/Mini Sorage and thought, "It's a shot in the dark, but perhaps they sell them." I swung in and told the gentleman (I wish I got his name) behind the counter of my dilemma. He paused for sec and said, "I'll be right back." Moments later, he returned with a single moving blanket and said "Here you are. Free of charge." Wow. POINT OF MY STORY: He did a simple favor which solved my unique problem, saved me upwards of $100, saved me a headache and lastly blew me away with his genuine kindness. Now I am a loyal customer who is eager to promote their business. It's amazing how a simple gesture of humility can change a person's day. In this story, I'm that person. This place has improved a great deal over the past couple of yrs. It's also right on hwy 19 and easy to find. I can rent UHauls from here also.

Danaya - A Lifesaver During Our Move! I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to Danaya at the Belcher Rd location. We were in the midst of a chaotic cross-country move and, in the frenzy, I accidentally booked our U-Haul truck for the wrong day. Danaya was incredibly understanding and helpful. She quickly assessed the situation, calmly explained our options, and worked to find a solution. As like many people in FL, I was a mess after 2 hurricanes. Diego went out of his way to take care of me. He made me feel safe and heard. He was the kindest soul and just what I needed at that time. Absolutely the kindest staff I've dealt with and most accommodating.

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Easy checkout. The van was amazing to drive. Wasn't a fan of the cigarette odor. If they put an ozone machine in the vehicle, it will help significantly to make the vehicle much better to ride in. In my opinion, I would charge renters $50 if they decide to smoke. First time in 50 rentals I ever had that happen so I'm not gonna hold that against the company. I recommend Tropicana very highly!

We use Tropicana to store our vehicle. The price is reasonable. Location is perfect - we fly into PIE and it's a short Lyft/Uber to Tropicana, and we're on our way! Staff is very friendly and helpful. The "normal" hours of operation are 6am - 10pm to access the gate, but if you need to come & go in the wee hours, a quick call to the staff in advance, and they'll add you to the 24 hr access list for the necessary dates. It's an outdoor parking spot, so we got a really good quality car cover. Worth it!

Tropicana Belcher Inc is the BEST storage facility that I have ever seen that also services UHaul. Simply amazing!!! Should be the model for all other locations.

I have been using their storage for a year. Monday we have to pay $574 to get our stuff out, throughout the year we have been homeless. We finally , thank God found someone to let my family of 4 ( supposed to be 5 but our daughter is in NY Still due to our situation ) rent a room. We have to move our storage unit from Largo to North Port smh - anyways the people who work here are just amazing people. Understanding and friendly. I wish every place was like them. The units are CLEAN!!! No roaches or anything and that’s always my main concern. Even though I have to use my kids school money- I can’t give them a bad review for something in my life that was out of my control. I understand it’s a business and they can’t allow me to run up my bill Bc I’m struggling - it’s not their problem. Anyways THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING SO KIND AND UNDERSTANDING! You guys are the best around! ( I have 2 more units other places so I can say that out of experience ) See y’all Monday!

A little pricey as far as storage facilities go, however they run a tight ship and you get what you pay for. Property is always clean, they work with ya best they can in the office if needed and within reason, and they have people on sight, visible, and willing to help out if needed, but they aren't in your business which is cool to me as it makes me feel my stuff is safe and being looked after but not watched. I've been with them for almost 6 months.

We've been with a competitor for the past year. They raised the price on us 3 times, without notice. We started at $100 per month, but soon it was $150. We then signed up for auto pay, and it jumped to $256. Now they want to add insurance covetage, bringing the totsk to well over $300. There was no written contract, so they can basically charge whatever they want. By contrast, Tropicana has a legally binding contract, and provided me with a copy. They say the price will stay the same for one year. These folks are personable and helpful, and seem transparent and honest. The whole place is clean and tidy, and the hard surfaces (counters, chair, etc) were being wiped down with disinfectant, complying with CDC guidelines. I'm looking forward to getting moved!

The U-Haul trailer fell off the back of the truck came right off of the hitch and I have to say I don't know how that happened but the screw to the hitch was loose I guess all that bumpy ride made it come loose I was quite distraught over it I got to say the gentleman that was there was amazing he came running out help me and the young lady that work inside came out and actually gave me a hug I was in tears I was so scared this has never happened to me before I had never even driven a trailer before so this was quite traumatic for me but I have to say they were so nice and helpful and made me feel very comfortable so thank you very much you guys God bless you

I wasn’t sure what size or kind of storage I was looking for and he showed me around and explained the price options perfectly! The storage itself is very clean. The property seems secure and I feel safe going there, even at night, and feel comfortable leaving my belongings there. I also rented a uhaul truck from them and had no issues. I’m happy with my decision to rent here and would recommend for sure.

We've rented a storage unit at Tropicana Mini Storage on S. Belcher for almost five years. The facilities are clean and secure and the staff is always helpful and considerate. Over the years we've had some financial problems and Lois at Tropicana was always very helpful, kind and understanding when we told her ahead of time that we were having some financial problems (communication is important). We have kept our extra stuff at this location for over a year now. The staff is professional and courteous. The buildings and the grounds around and inside the fence and well kept. It was originally the price that brought us in, but everything else has made us stay. The manager, Jamie, is great to work with as well, and I highly recommend him.
