Tropicana Self Storage Celebrates Spring Hill Opening with Grand Opening Event
Tropicana Self Storage is officially open in Spring Hill and invites the community to help celebrate with a Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at 13335 County Line Road, Spring Hill, FL 34609.
The free event will feature a ribbon-cutting, tours of the new facility, hot dogs, and drinks prepared by Tropicana Self Storage’s own facility manager, Tim Mewhinney and Hits 106’s John Kelly. We invite guests to stop by, grab a hot dog, meet the team, and get a firsthand look at a facility built to rethink what self-storage can offer in Spring Hill.

For years, self-storage customers have faced a choice between the convenience of backing a vehicle right up to a non-climate controlled-unit or the protection of interior climate control. The new Spring Hill facility ends that restricted choice with climate-controlled drive-up storage units that combine these amenities, some with doors on both the front and rear.
Customers can pull directly up to an air-conditioned unit, a difference that matters not only for household storage but also for business clients, contractors, online store owners/sellers who regularly move inventory, maintain parts inventory, and tools in and out. Select units feature multi-door access (front and rear) for easier access, loading and unloading. Paved on-site boat, RV, commercial vehicle and trailer parking also available.

You get the convenience of pulling right up to your door, and your belongings get protection from the heat, the moisture, and everything else Florida weather throws at you. Access to the facility is either by keypad or a “smart phone application.” The property also features 24/7 camera monitoring throughout the facility, multiple layers of access control, free-provided carts, and on-site storage specialists who can help customers choose the right unit for their needs. The facility also has a “resident manager” for added security as well as Uhaul equipment for the convenience of our customers.
The facility is located 1 mile west of the Suncoast Parkway, right in the middle of the residential development in the Spring Hill/Shady Hills area. Just 45 minutes north of Tampa, the area is one of the fastest growing in the USA. With attractions such as Hernando Beach, Weeki Wachee Springs State Park (home of the legendary underwater mermaid shows) and the Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport that includes a prominent technology/industrial park.
As part of the Grand Opening, Tropicana Self Storage will also welcome officials from the Hernando County, including Commissioner John Mitten, the Frank W Springstead High School Marching Eagle Brigade, led by Band Director Zachary Furterera, and VFW Post 10209 Honor Brigade, led by Captain Jonathan Jones.
The Spring Hill facility was developed by long-time Tampa Bay Real Estate Developer Carl Minieri with assistance from an experienced team of professionals: Deeb Construction & Development, FWH Architects, PAR Builders and Coastal Engineering, that helped create this wonderful class-A facility.
